ATYPICAL IN MYTHICAL

Since several years now, Richard Orlinski maintains a particular link with Courchevel, and shows his monumental pieces of Art, helicoptered both just next to the ski slopes and in the trendiest places of the station. True jewel of the Trois-Vallées, Courchevel is world famous its breathtaking view of the snowy landscapes of the valley for its exceptional ski area. It’s on the ski slopes feet that Orlinski Design imagine, for the conception of a 5 stars hotel, an atypical and impactful architecture, which remains faithful to the contemporary and “Wild” style of the artist. Born from two reunified rocky blocks, as extracted from the mountain’s entrails and hand cutted, this sculptural architecture seems to challenge the laws of gravity, supported by thin steel elements. Seeming to levitate, these two rocks house a pleasant and exceptional setting, with more than 1580 sq meters. More than the promise of a warm stay in an oversized luxury, the volumes guide the clientele, from their wood sculpted alcoves, to a unique experience with the stunning environment.
